Sanko Concrete Anchors
Sanko has over 40 years of experience manufacturing concrete anchors. In addition to this, Sanko has a stringent quality assurance process. This along with the support of Benner-Nawman as your U.S. connection makes the Sanko anchor the best in the business.
Benner-Nawman is the master distributor of Sanko “Grip” anchors in the United States. The Sanko Techno Group in Japan was established in 1964. The company has been growing ever since, and presently owns three factories in two countries. Sanko is the number one producer of concrete anchors in Japan and is known world wide for high quality products. With Benner-Nawman’s experience in the construction industry, concrete anchoring is a natural progression. Benner-Nawman is offering numerous varieties and sizes including stainless steel anchors, steel anchors, and drill bits. You can also expect the same level of quality that you have come to know from the rest of Benner-Nawman’s product lines.
The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association recently sponsored a research study at the University of Toledo on drop-in anchors. In this study the Sanko anchor was matched up against the other popular anchors in the market. Sanko anchors were found to be the easiest to install properly and supported the greatest loads. Sanko was found to support approximately 15% more weight than the competition.

What You'll Get
Benner-Nawman introduces the Sanko Anchor Bucket package. This bucket is stocked full of everything you need to install Sanko drop-in anchors. Very portable, the Sanko Anchor Bucket is perfect for the jobsite. The bucket includes (500 each) CT or GT drop in anchors, (2 each) Sanko SDS-plus drill bits, and (1 each) setting tool.
The Sanko drill bit is specially designed for the Sanko anchor. The four cutting blades on this drill bit create a more precise circular hole than standard two-bladed bits, which helps the anchor better base for setting. The four blades also reduce drilling time by about 15%. The Sanko drill bit blades are carbide reinforced and are treated for durable construction use which allows it to last three times longer than the standard masonry bits offered by our competition. The Sanko bit also has depth gauges on it which are specifically designed for the Sanko anchors. These depth gauges show you exactly how deep to drill in order to set your anchor, and are built right into the drill bit so you don’t have to use tape or a marker to set your depth.
Anchor setting tools are designed to be hammered into the center of the drop-in anchors such as the CT or GT types. There are different sized setting tools to match up with the various sized anchors. The setting tools are designed to so that when the shoulder of the setting tool is flush with the top of the anchor, the anchor is set properly. Setting tools are made of hardened steel designed not to bend or break and last for many installations.
To set a Sanko CT anchor follow these simple steps. First drill a hole to the depth required for the anchor you are setting. Secondly clean the concrete dust out of the hole with blown air. Next put the drop-in anchor into the hole. Then place the small end of the setting tool into the center of the anchor. Hammer the top of the setting tool to drive it down into the anchor, pushing the internal plug downward. Once the shoulder of the setting tool matches up with the top of the anchor then the internal plug is as far down as it will go and the anchor is set properly. |

These drop-in anchors are internally threaded controlled expansion anchors with an expander plug, suitable for flush mount applications in solid base materials. The anchor is set by driving the expansion plug towards the bottom of the anchor using the setting tool. Used for:
-
Mounting core drilling and concrete cutting equipment
-
Suspending sprinkler piping or conduit lines from concrete ceilings
-
Heavy duty pipe support
-
Concrete framework
-
J-bolts for highway and bridge applications
The hammer drive anchor features a hardened center pin that is driven in to expand the anchor. The C-Type includes nut and washer so that it can be set to various depths. Easy to install, the depth of the hole is not critical and no special tool is required, just hammer the pin in and the anchor tensions itself automatically. The anchor is set when the center pin is flush with the top of the bolt making it easy to inspect.
